Mercer ME 2017 Quality of Living Survey Ranks Dubai as Best City for Expats in Middle East and Africa
The 2015 Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index looks beyond the annual rankings to observe changes in pension systems worldwide over the past seven years and to assess which sytems will continue to deliver and which are at risk.
North American workers are satisfied with their benefits, but concerned about future benefit costs and retirement readiness, Mercer research shows. Employees rank base pay as most important, but are less satisfied with it and career opportunities.
The Mercer Marketplace private benefits exchange continues to grow in both individual participants and number of clients. The exchange now serves more than 300 companies with 703,000 eligible employees and retirees, representing 1.5 million lives.
Through a strategic alliance, Transamerica will acquire Mercer’s US defined contribution administration business and also become Mercer’s preferred defined contribution recordkeeping provider. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2015.
Mercer has signed an agreement to acquire Comptryx, a global pay and workforce metrics business specializing in the technology sector and providing state-of-the-art online tools to assess total labor force costs.
